Dr. Erwin Small Fund

I think all of us would agree that Dr. Erwin Small and the University of Illinois go hand in hand. I don't imagine many of us remember our time at Illinois without thinking of Doc. An iconic figure for many of us, Dr. Small is perhaps the most universally adored faculty member the College has known throughout its 60 year history. He helped train many well regarded veterinarians who've used their veterinary education to launch important research and develop some of the most widely used animal products worldwide. In a word, he is an educator.

It is from that spirit of education that I am challenge each of you to join me - as a donor - in creating the Dr. Erwin Small DermaPet Fund. Dr. Small has left a significant imprint on my career - as I am guessing he did with countless others. I challenge you to make the most significant gift you can make. I am personally committed to contributing half of the funds needed to endow this fund for $25,000. Join me in honoring the life and work of Dr. Small.
