Each 2 ml pump of the EICOSADERM provides a 10 pound dog 8.28 calories and the
correct dose of EPA/DHA (180 EPA/120 DHA). DenTees Stars have about 7.8 calories
while the Chews have about 75 calories each.
EQUINE UTERINE LAVAGE Manual of Equine Reproduction, p 66, In vitro study demonstrated mannose decreased adhesion of E.Coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Streptococcus zooepidemicus to to equine endometrial cells in culture; proposed a therapy in uterine lavage; EDTA binds Ca in bacterial cell walls, making the cell wall permeable to antibiotic and thus more susceptible, use confined to persistent Pseudomonas infections. 250 ml TrizEDTA or TrizEDTA PLUS as Uterine Lavage, then infuse antibiotic 3hr later. (Ed Note: antibiotic can be mixed with initial TrizEDTA(Plus) solution so only one lavage is necessary.)

WOOLEY visited and again thanked me for doing what was necessary to bring his
tris-edta concept to market Wooley wondered out loud if a competitive product
would work using alcohol and if that alcohol would not be ototoxic. He wondered
why, since he taught students that alcohol should burn wounds, why it was used
in the middle ear? And what function lanolin and nonoxynol would have, much
less the effect of ph8.5? when virtually all the research done in close to a
hundred papers by Wooley et al used an aqueous formula like TrizEDTA.
Upon arrival, YT dined with Pet Care TV people, TOM CATANZARO, JEFF WERBER, BERNIE KOUMA, COLIN BURROWS. PHIL COHEN hosted us at Charlie Palmers where GARY LANDSBERG showed late due to good seats at Jay Leno. Also seen were BOB ANTIN and NEAL TAUBER entertaining VCA dignitaries. and WILL NOVAK, JOHN PAYNE, KAREN FAUNT, KATHY BAUMGARTNER and KATHY ENGLER doing BANFIELD business. PATRICK RAYBURN, JACK WHITE, KIM CAREY and new West Coast rep ROB CONN worked the booth.

JIMMY HAVERSTICK, PHIL LAWLER of FOCUS bought me a drink in the Island Lounge while reminding me of how they allow us to focus on where our sales are coming from.
Cookies, coffee and water were ample in the exhibitor lounge. Pfizer’s free Haagen-Dazs bars were a hit. Keller Williams realtors packed the halls so much that on day 2, food was scarce as exhibitors, participants and realtors clamored in long lines for food services.
We were pleased to see our Korean distributor, CHARLIE KIM of Vetcom Korea, and sorry he could not join us for our annual Chinese seafood feast at the Joyful House where our Texas TM, PATRICK RAYBURN, first tasted lobster.. After returning from the Joyful House, the joy continued at the Mandalay Bay casino. Flanked by LOU and PENNY GOTTHELF, JACK and an unknown Salt Lake City vet, YT proceeded to take part in what heretofore shall only be referred to as “THE ROLL”. Our SLC vet- pal who should be naming a new wing after DermaPet, was last heard saying he would stop using all competitive products, while much smaller bettors like YT, Jack and I also more than made up for some previous efforts where the craps gods were not with us.
Former AMC mogul, GUY PIGEON, has accepted a job to assist STEVE CRANE to run this well attended meeting. Lest I forget again, NELSON DIAZ of Schering did a fine presentation on otology for techs at NAVC. Nelson once worked with LOU GOTTHELF.
Much to the continued dismay of tired exhibitors attending both WVC and Ohio,
there was the OVMA meeting the day after Vegas ended. Ohio has such a well respected
and attended meeting, many exhibitors wonder out loud if they would consider
a little interval after Vegas.

MalAcetic HC Wet Wipes
MalAcetic HC is now in a convenient to use large Wet Wipe which will be introduced
at the WVC in Las Vegas. This utilizes our patent protected MalAcetic line of
acetic and boric acid products which have both cleansing and antimicrobial effects
and merges them with the anti-inflammatory effects of hydrocortisone.
TrizEDTA Plus (our patented, USP containing tris-EDTA product with .15% Chlorhexidine gluconate) and MalAcetic Otic AP (our patented MalAcetic Otic with an apple fragrance) were introduced to the market at TNAVC in Orlando. TrizEDTA potentiates chlorhexidine exponentially creating a powerful antimicrobial that when antibiotics are added should be the deciding factor, particularly in gram negative infections in the skin, respiratory and urogenital systems.
MalAcetic Otic, our patented franchise product, is currently the treatment of choice by many experts for Malassezia otitis. It is not ototoxic. While most people love the pleasant peach fragrance, there are some who do not. For those who would like an alternative to the peach, we have placed this apple fragranced product on the market.

MalAcetic EQ Shampoo is a medicated shampoo useful as a degreaser and in
assisting treatment of most microbial infections including Dermatophilus, scratches

DermAllay EQ Shampoo uses our cosmetic grade, solubilized oatmeal which is useful as a general cleanser and for it's anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic properties. Available only from veterinarians in a convenient to use 16 oz size.

Eicosacaps is the new name for the OFA Caps Plus EZ-C
This is our omega 3/6 version very similar to DermCaps except we also have
the antioxidants (Vitamins E and C) plus zinc and garlic.
KlearWax is a potent cerumenolytic, degreasing, dewaxing product containing
Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate (DSS) and Urea Peroxide. DSS emulsifies wax and
debris. Urea Peroxide is a foaming agent to break up larger clumps of debris.
This product is recommended for in house cleansing to clear away debris enabling
better visualization of the otic canal and TM. It is available in a 4 ounce
size in an applicator bottle.

PetCARE TV has formed an alliance with the American Animal Hospital Association(AAHA)
making a special AAHA version of its popular monthly reception room client education
DVD available to AAHA member hospitals. Also, PetCARE TV will be airing two
new AVMA PSAs titled " Is Your Cat Healthy" and "How Often Does
Your Pet Need A Wellness Exam". These two segments will start appearing
