THE ROLE OF EAR CLEANING IN OTIC THERAPY, WEBINAR AUGUST 5TH!
Join us for a FREE webinar by Louis N. Gotthelf, DVM, Montgomery Pet Skin and Ear Clinic, Montgomery, Alabama. This webinar will cover the video examination and proper ear cleaning in a chronically inflamed ear canal. The objective is to teach veterinarians how to clean the entire ear canal in order to better topically treat ear disease. If there is debris seen in the canal, it will first be analyzed through cytology for infectious organisms, and then the ear debris will be removed using a variety of methods that will be described and demonstrated in this webinar. Space is limited. Look for an invitation to register in your inbox soon!
This course has been approved for 1.00 hour of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB's RACE approval; however, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. Call DermaPet at 800-755-4738 for further information.

A concentration of 2% acetic acid is lethal to Pseudomonas within 1 minute of contact, and tris-EDTA has antibacterial effects as well. DermaPet’s MalAcetic Shampoo, Spray, Wipes and Otic all contain 2% acetic acid and boric acid. In addition, DermaPet has several products containing tris-EDTA, including TrizEDTA (tris-EDTA), TrizULTRA (tris-EDTA and 0.15% Ketoconazole), TrizCHLOR (tris-EDTA and 0.15% Chlorhexidene), Mal-A-Ket Plus TrizEDTA Flush (tris-EDTA, 0.15% Ketoconazole and 0.15% Chlorhexidene), Mal-A-Ket Plus TrizEDTA Spray (tris-EDTA, 1% Ketoconazole and 2% Chlorhexidene).
