DermaSebS Shampoo

A gentle, elegant solubilzed sulfur/salicylic acid shampoo that assists in treating scaling and other disorders requiring a medicated shampoo, can be used for general cleansing. These disorders include seborrhea, skin infections, ringworm, oily and dry skin diseases, hot spots, etc. This product modernizes an age old natural formula by extracting the best parts of sulfur to enhance its desirability and efficacy. Smell the pleasant coconut odor of DermaPet's sulfur! Other like products on the market are not clear, contain dyes, are smelly and contain raw or precipitated sulfur.

Sebolux (Virbac) Contains blue dye, fragrance and is not all natural. It is not in our hypo-allergenic vehicle. Sebolux finished last in a comparison study in which DermaSebS Shampoo was first. (Karen Campbell, presented to AAVD in Charlston, SC in 1994. DVM has tried to match these two products by adding Triclosan and an extra 1% of salicylic acid. Triclosan has proven to be of very little use and adding 1% more of salicylic acid is like adding more piperonyl butoxide to a pyrethrin product; the active ingredient is sulfur. Neigher is using the same sulfur that we are since ours came from a European source.
