At 2.5%, this formulation
is stabilized (and given additional nutritional value) by the worlds best natural
antioxidant, Vitamin E. It is the only BP product on the market to contain
both sulfur and salicylic acid in an all natural base containing a natural,
herbal fragrance and moisturizers. It assists in the treatment of Hot Spots,
pyodermas (skin infections), lick granulomas, acne, oily seborrhea, greasy
skin, Staph infections, skin fold infections and many other diseases requiring
an antimicrobial shampoo. It stands alone in its ability to flush
out hair follicles filled with infectious microbes. It can only be sold
to and by a veterinarian.
The only comparative product is Sulfoxidex (DVM) which contains sulfur but not salicylic acid. Here is an example of a company that uses too much synergist in one product and none in another.
